Good jackets are hard to come by - we all know this to be true. Especially the kind that actually feels built to last. 

This one I would categorise as such and is from Oxbow, a French brand that’s been around since the late ‘80s. Originally surf-oriented, but always more rugged than beachy. Think about a brand where surf meets skate, with a slight hint of a mountain in there. 

This jacket has some nice heavy denim, a boxy, slightly cropped fit. Its similar to a detroit jacket, but slightly better in my opinion. It also features a nice plaid inside to keep you warm during the fall! 

And honestly, that’s what I like about Oxbow. It’s always flown a bit under the radar, but the pieces hold up. Quiet design, good materials - just solid clothes for the people! 

The tag says XL, but it fits between XL/L, so perfect if you are a large and like it a bit oversized.  

Worn to perfection with some nice fading, but no holes, tears or major stains.
